Elizabeth Paige Thetford
Paige Thetford is a current Masters student in the English department at Texas A&M University. Her focus is in early modern drama and book history with an interest in how the digital humanities can work to provide resources for teaching Shakespeare in the high school English Learner (EL) classroom. As a former Texas high school teacher, Paige draws on her experience of working with EL students at both the highschool and college level to inform her pedagogical digital humanities work. Ultimately, she views the digital humanities as a creative and exciting way to combine her passions for both English literature and education.
Contribution: Paige piloted the DigEd digital textbook and provided general editing. In working through DigEd, she created her own digital edition using the instructions, tools, and resources provided within the textbook.
